1) искажение; шумность, зашумлённость (например, изображения)посторонняя, бессмысленная или ошибочная информация, добавляемая к видео-или аудиосигналу в процессе записи, передачи или кодирования/декодирования. Преимущество цифровых форматов перед аналоговыми в том, что шумы могут полностью устраняться - хотя могут возникать новые шумы из-за сжатияв телекоммуникации - множество нежелательных колебаний различных частот, накладывающихся на передаваемый сигнал. Различают низкочастотные шумы (EMI) и радиочастотные шумы (RFI). Существует множество источников шумов, таких как генераторы, промышленное оборудование, включение электропитания и др. Шумы могут вызвать сбои в работе программсм. тж. crosstalk, electromagnetic noise, EMI, impulse noise, in-band noise, mains hum, noise filter, noise source, NOG, phase noise, pulse noise, quantization noise, random noise, SNR, spike, white noise3) помехив передаче данных - любой нежелательный сигнал, влияющий на коммуникационный каналсм. тж. additive noise, ingress noise, line noise, lost in the noise, man-made noise, noise blanking, noise control, noise floor, noise immunity, noise level, noise margin5) в общем смысле - случайный нежелательный сигнал, добавленный к исходному, но не имеющий корреляции (взаимосвязи) с ним и обладающий в то же время определёнными статистическими свойствами, например спектральной плотностью (распределением мощности в данном спектре частот); это свойство можно использовать для классификации разных типов шумов (что важно для таких дисциплин, как акустика, физика, электротехника) с присвоением им соответствующих "цветов"Англо-русский толковый словарь терминов и сокращений по ВТ, Интернету и программированию. > noise
